Introducing my newest offering – cosplay art and photography!

You’ve spent hours, weeks, maybe even months building your cosplay. But that’s only one half of the art. The other half is the magic and spirit you infuse into it in the wearing. Ephemeral.

My photography career has specialized in capturing those fleeting moments of magic. An actor’s truest essence caught in time to create on audition on paper. A moment from live performance captured forever. (Once upon a time I even shot weddings!)

And now, the beauty of your cosplay.

As this is an expanded offering for me, I’m going to be working with some of my fellow cosplayers in the upcoming months to build a portfolio of this specialized work. I’ll also be attending several cons and shooting on the floor, so keep an eye out for my cosplay alter ego, Nyx Tesseract! My tentative con schedule is posted on this page, but for the latest details and possible con-shoot opportunities, keep an eye on my various social media.

In the meantime, I’ve collected some of my theatrical and model photography from the past few years that I think best captures the essence of what I hope to bring to cosplay photography. I’ll add cosplay photos to this gallery as I shoot them.
